Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Town Technologies Inc. (“Town,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit town.club, create an account, or use the Town platform (the “Service”). It also covers information about the guests who order from or interact with restaurants that use Town. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us. Account and contact details (name, email, phone, business name and address), the content you add (menus, prices, photos, hours, promotions), and messages you send us.

Guest information. When a guest places an order or booking through a restaurant’s Town site, we process their name, contact details, order details and delivery address on the restaurant’s behalf.

Payment information. Card payments are handled by third-party processors (for example Stripe or Authorize.net). Town does not store full card numbers; we receive limited transaction details needed to run the Service.

Information collected automatically. Device, browser, IP address, pages viewed, clicks and similar usage data, collected through cookies and analytics tools such as Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and PostHog (product analytics, which may include session replay). We may link this activity to you if you submit a form or identify yourself.

How we use information

• Provide, operate and improve the Service
• Process orders, bookings, loyalty and payments
• Communicate with you about your account, support and updates
• Manage restaurant listings across third-party platforms
• Provide marketing tools (email, SMS, social) that restaurants use with their own customers
• Detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse and security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

Cookies & analytics

We and our providers use cookies and similar technologies to run the site, remember preferences and measure performance. This includes product-analytics tools such as PostHog that record pages viewed, clicks and other on-site activity (and may include session replay) to help us understand how visitors use town.club and improve it. You can decline analytics cookies using the banner shown on your first visit, or control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. Where required, we present a consent choice and honor it.

How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run the Service:

• Service providers (hosting, analytics, communications) under contract
• Payment processors to complete transactions
• Delivery networks (e.g. DoorDash Drive, Uber Direct) to fulfill delivery orders
• Listings platforms to keep a restaurant’s information accurate
• Legal and safety reasons, or in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets

Data retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes, then delete or de-identify it.

Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal information, or to opt out of certain processing (for example under the CCPA/CPRA or GDPR). To make a request, email support@town.club. Guests should contact the restaurant they ordered from, or us, and we will help route the request. You can unsubscribe from marketing at any time using the link in the message.

Security

We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
