Setting up your Google My Business for success

You have already done the hard part, a great website and commission-free online ordering with Town. Now make sure the customers already searching for you order directly from you, not through a third-party link that quietly skims a cut.

When customers find your restaurant on Google, your profile often shows several ordering links, and most of them charge commissions. That confuses customers and takes money out of your pocket on orders you already earned.

The goal is simple: remove the third-party ordering links so the people looking for you land on your own Town ordering page. Town is truly commission-free, no hidden fees and no percentage taken from every order, so it should be the ordering link customers see first, and ideally the only one.

A bad Google setupCustomers see multiple third-party ordering links that charge commissions and pull orders away from your direct channel.
A great Google setupCustomers are guided straight to your own website ordering link, keeping more profit in your pocket.

After you request removal

Removals can take a few days to reflect on Google. While you wait, make sure your Town ordering link is set as the primary action on your profile so it is the first, and best, option customers see. Not sure? Google Business Profile or email support@town.club and we will help.
