Categories and category hours

Categories are the sections of your menu, like Appetizers or Burritos & Bowls. This page is the library of categories you can use across menus.

   + New Category Makes a new category.

   Menu Category Hours "Always available" until you set custom hours.

   Status Switch off to hide the whole category.

   Clock icon Edit category hours.

   Pencil Edit name, description and photo.

   Trash Deletes the category after you confirm.

Add a category

   Active Leave on so it shows.

   Name Like "Tacos".
3. 3
   Description Shown under the category name.

Below the description you can add a category photo. The details save as you fill them in.

To change the order categories appear in, use the up and down arrows on each category in the menu Builder.

Only sell a category at certain times

Perfect for breakfast, happy hour or a lunch special section.

   Use custom hours Turn on to set hours for this category.

   Day switch Turn on each day the category is sold.

   Add Range Adds a from and to time for that day.
4. 4
   Copy Week Copies this day’s ranges to the other days.
5. 5
   Save Hours Saves the schedule.
6. 6
   Clear Removes all ranges.

1. Click the clock icon 4 on the category row.
2. Turn on Use custom hours 1.
3. Turn on each day 2 and click Add Range 3 to set the times. Use Copy Week 4 to repeat them.
4. Click Save Hours 5.
