Menus connected to your POS

If your menu comes from your POS, make menu changes there. Here is what you can still control in Town.

If your account is set up so your menu comes from your POS (shown as POS Connected), the menu in Town is read only. It updates automatically from the POS, and you may see a "Last Sync" time on items and categories.

  • Items, prices, categories and modifiers: change them in your POS. There are no edit controls for them in Town.
  • Menu hours: you can still give a menu its own schedule. Go to Menu › Items, click the pencil on the menu, turn on Use menu hours over opening hours and set the Weekly Schedule.

To connect a POS to a location, use Connect POS on that location under Company › Business.

Good to know

If orders are rejected as "restaurant closed" while your site shows you are open, check the online ordering hours in your POS first.
